ROXBORO LODGE SUPPORTS SUMMER YOUTH CAMP WITH NEW EQUIPMENT

By: Derrick Sims

The Roxboro Elks Lodge members were invited to a ceremony at Camp Oak Hill on June 18th so that the Camp could show their appreciation for the new aquatic equipment that was purchased through the Gratitude and Anniversary Grants. Over a hundred  people were in attendance and demonstrations were made by the young campers on how the new recreational equipment worked. Camp Oak Hill’s Mission is to provide an experience of excellence through safe and clean accommodations, fun and challenging activities, and a mature Christian staff devoted to sharing the Love of Christ with each camper, the impact of which will reverberate throughout the Triangle and surrounding areas for generations to come. The Roxboro Lodge looks forward to continuing partnering with Camp Oak Hill in the future.
