“ROXBORO ELKS ANNOUNCE WILLIAM C. BULLOCK

 MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT”

Roxboro Elks Lodge #2005 is pleased to announce that Oscar Powell has been selected to be recipient of the William C. Bullock Memorial Scholarship Winner for 2018-19. This is a four year scholarship where the Roxboro Lodge will pay $1,000 each year towards his tuition at UNC-CH University. Oscar graduated from Person High School and plans to major in Law.

The Roxboro Elks named the annual scholarship after William C. Bullock, who served as the North Carolina Elks State President in 1996-97 and the Exalted Ruler of the Roxboro Lodge for 17 years. The proceeds for the scholarship were raised from the Roxboro Elks Golf Tournament which was held this spring.
