The Statesville Elks Lodge #1823 has kicked off the 2019 Veterans Dinners at the lodge working with the Salisbury V.A. to make sure our Veterans have a great night away from the hospital for a road trip.

Statesville Elks have a board posted of thank you letters that the Veterans have them selves mailed back to the lodge thanking them for a great dinner and letting the Elks know what it means to them that Elks Care Elks Share.

January 17 was the first dinner the members and guest were pleased to feed 33 Veterans from the V.A. and 5 Veterans from the Statesville Veterans Transitional Home that opened  Jun 14, 2016, Statesville Elk members stop by the home to help meet needs around holidays to make sure the Veterans in transition have plenty of food and supply’s to help them out.
