The Roxboro Elks Lodge #2005 held a ceremony to present a certificate of honor to Person County Government for properly flying the American Flag at numerous locations across the County. Receiving the award for Person County was County Manager Heidi York. The Roxboro Lodge Americanism Committee actively seeks to recognize businesses and public entities for the proper display of flying our United States Flag during the day and at night with proper illumination. The Lodge Americanism Committee uses this as a key tool to increase good effective public relations and patriotism in the community by promoting outside the Lodge relationships.
