Goldsboro Elks Lodge #139 entertained 31 students and parents at the Lodge for Dinner and Awards during our Lodge Meeting.

Goldsboro Elks Lodge #139 presented checks and certificates to students for the Elks Essay Contest (grades 5 – 8), Most Valuable Students (Grade 12),and Nursing Scholarships. Pictured front row left to right: Essay winners Colby Thompson (First Place in East District), Kezia Knox( Essay Winner), Rachel Muscher (MVS) Ellison Best (Essay Winner),Will Fickling (First Place in East District and Second Place in State Essay Winner), Bailey Jones (Essay Winner),Alex Wingate(Scholarship/Essay Chairman) . Back Row: Joe Lawrence(Exalted Ruler) Jackson Carter(MVS) Carlie Ann Powell(Nursing Scholarship), Jacob Seate( $1,000 MVS Scholarship, Tanner Brock(Essay Winner). Total awards were $1850.00
