Introducing Your District Deputies for the
2019-2020 Year
The North Carolina Elks District Deputies for the 2019-2020 year are pictured here along with North Carolina State Special Deputy John Boyd: L-R: East Central, Joe Clancy; West Central, Kevin Black; Special Deputy Boyd; West, John Farmer, and East, Kevin Fogarty.
The Members of this Association of Elks wish you each a productive and successful year and look forward to your Clinics and your visits to our Lodges.
THANK YOU!!!
I wish to thank all of the North Carolina Elks Lodges, and Elks who sent me get
well wishes over the past couple of weeks. They are truly appreciated. I am
doing as well as can be expected. Cannot put any weight on the one leg so am
limited to “hopping” along with a walker or riding in a wheel chair. The doctors
say that it will be three months before we talk about surgery to replace the hip.
Until then I am very limited in my travels.
Again, Sharon and I thank you for your thoughts and prayers and I will keep you
updated as we go forward.

The Roxboro Elks Lodge members were invited to a ceremony at Camp Oak Hill on June 18th so that the Camp could show their appreciation for the new aquatic equipment that was purchased through the Gratitude and Anniversary Grants. Over a hundred people were in attendance and demonstrations were made by the young campers on how the new recreational equipment worked. Camp Oak Hill’s Mission is to provide an experience of excellence through safe and clean accommodations, fun and challenging activities, and a mature Christian staff devoted to sharing the Love of Christ with each camper, the impact of which will reverberate throughout the Triangle and surrounding areas for generations to come. The Roxboro Lodge looks forward to continuing partnering with Camp Oak Hill in the future.

Our State Sponsor Author (Jack) Frost has had a fall and broken his hip. He was in the hospital for a few days and now is confined to home. He went to the Doctor yesterday and will have x-rays this week. He believes that he will be at home for 2 to 3 months and unable to travel. After that he will be having a hip replacement and another two months recovery. He will not be at the Grand Lodge Convention with us and be restricted to home.
Jack will be keeping up with all his duties from home and will communicate as normal by email and phone.
Please keep our Sponsor in your thoughts and prayers.
